Fine quality 24% lead crystal decanter of elongated mallet form with matching stopper. The body extensively wheel-engraved with repeating stripes. Substantial in scale and weight, displaying the high clarity and brilliance associated with mid-20th-century Bohemian crystal production.

Bohemian lead crystal decanters of this size and quality were produced for both domestic and export markets during the mid- to late-20th century. The mallet form, combined with fine hand wheel deep engraving, reflects traditional Central European glassmaking techniques adapted to post-war taste. Large-format examples of this type are increasingly scarce.
