A Large Pair of Burmese Turned Wood Lamps, 20th Century

Sold as a pair, these impressive floor or table lamps make a bold statement. In Burmese turned dark hardwood, converted from a pair of stock pots with lids, these lamps have been expertly constructed by artisans and fitted with contemporary fittings. Each mounted with bespoke rustic oiled kraft parchment paper shades which create a textured and earthy look and which exudes a warm light and look rust/orange when on and soft brown when unlit. The shades are supported by a contemporary harp fitting - the wiring, button switches and plug are newly fitted.
