The rectangular top constructed from reclaimed rustic timber planks, possibly salvaged architectural beams, supported by a heavy-duty industrial cast-iron base with a functional mechanical crank and gear system allowing for height adjustment; the base with oxidized and blackened finish. The table comfortably sits 8 (3 each side and one at each end), could also be used as a boardroom table or large partners desk.
76 cm. high; 240 cm. long; 100 cm. wide.
Condition Report
Overall: Excellent structural condition.
Top: The timber displays natural "distressed" characteristics consistent with reclaimed materials, including deep graining, minor fissures, and bolt-hole scarring which are intentional to the design. No significant non-original staining or water damage.
Base: Mechanical crank is fully operational. The ironwork retains its dark industrial patina with nominal oxidation.
Provenance:
Acquired from ABC Carpet & Home, Manhattan, New York.
